Meet Kristy
Individual Psychotherapy for adults (19+)
As a registered psychotherapist, I genuinely believe that a vital part of therapy is feeling heard and understood. I'm here to provide a supportive space, lend a compassionate ear, and offer you the guidance and resources you need to embark on your journey toward healing.
I am dedicated to supporting people who struggle with anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and childhood trauma. My therapeutic focus also encompasses challenges with depression, relationship difficulties, stress, burnout, life transitions, and grief.
Drawing from my background in the social services sector, I've had the privilege of providing case management services, counseling, and emotional support within organizations like a local women's shelter and Ottawa Victim Services. I am registered as a psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and I'm trained as an EMDR Therapist. I am a member of both EMDR Canada and EMDRIA. Furthermore, I've earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology in 2022 and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2018. My diverse experiences and education have equipped me to connect with and assist individuals from various walks of life, backgrounds, and mental health challenges.
